As provided for by Article 7, paragraph 1, of the University Teaching and Learning Regulations, the Joint Faculty-Student Committee performs the following functions:
a) monitors and oversees the educational offer, the quality of teaching, and the student support activities provided by academic staff; it also issues opinions on the establishment and discontinuation of degree programmes;
b) expresses its opinion on the consistency between the credits assigned to learning activities and the specific intended learning outcomes of the programmes;
c) prepares an annual report on the results of its monitoring, oversight, and evaluation activities, and submits it to the School or Department Council, as well as to the University’s Evaluation Unit (Nucleo di Valutazione) and Quality Assurance Office (Presidio della Qualità).
