Tasks

The Committee examines requests for opinions submitted by members of the Department of Economics (professors, researchers, research fellows, scholarship holders, and PhD students) concerning research protocols involving human subjects, excluding research in the medical field, and issues a decision of approval or non-approval.

The Committee provides an opinion when the research:

  1. generates new data through the involvement of individuals (e.g., laboratory experiments, field experiments, online surveys, or interviews);

  2. uses existing data that allows individuals to be identified

Members of the Council may consult the Regulations at this link

To request an opinion from the CORDI Committee, please complete the request form available in the Documents section of this webpage and submit it to the email address indicated on the form.
