The Committee promotes, coordinates, and monitors the Department’s Third Mission and Public Engagement activities.
The Chair of the Committee serves as the Department’s Third Mission Quality Assurance Officer and is a member of the University’s Third Mission Quality Assurance Committee.
The Committee’s main responsibilities are:
- Organizing a variety of activities aimed at the general public and the business community;
- Developing and implementing large-scale outreach initiatives;
- Promoting, establishing, and maintaining technical and scientific collaborations with local authorities, companies, associations, and other community organizations;
- Preparing the documentation required by the University.
