The course will be taught in English and is organized in two parts. In the first part the basic notions and tools of noncooperative game theory will be presented. In the second part we shall discuss how these tools can be applied in order to shed light on relevant economic issues in which the strategic dimension of economic interaction becomes crucial. In particular, we will discuss economic problems related to coordination, cooperation and conflict.
