The PhDl Programme represents the third and highest level of education within the Italian academic system and is equivalent, although not officially, to the Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree awarded in English-speaking countries.
Admission to a Doctoral Programme is through a public selection process based on qualifications and examinations. The programme has a duration of three years and aims to provide the skills and expertise required to conduct highly qualified research activities at universities, public institutions, and private organizations.
