Roberto Ricciuti si occupa di diversi aspetti di political economy (principalmente istituzioni, democrazia, conflitto). E' Coordinatore del Dottorato di ricercaca in Economia e Management, fellow del CESifo e Visiting Professorial Fellow al Global Development Institute (University of Manchester). Ha ottenuto il Dottorato in Economia Politica all’Università di Siena ed un MSc in Economics all’University of Exeter. Ha insegnato a Royal Holloway University of London e all’Università di Firenze, ed è stato Jean Monner Fellow all'Istituto Universitario Europeo e Visiting Fellow a Clare Hall College (University of Cambridge).. Ha ottenuto la NEPS Medal per il miglior paper di peace economics pubblicato nel 2017.

Roberto Ricciuti works on several issues in political economy (mainly institutions, democracy and conflict). He is the Director of the PhD in Economics and Management and fellow of CESifo and Visiting Professorial Fellow at the Global Development Institute (University of Manchester). He received the PhD in Economics from the University of Siena and an MSc in Economics at the University of Exeter. He taught at Royal Holloway University of London and at the University of Florence, and was a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute and Visiting Fellow at Clare Hall College (University of Cambridge). Roberto received the NEPS Medal for the best paper in peace economics published in 2017.
