Teaching
The Department of Economics (DSE) offers educational programs designed to develop professional skills and facilitate entry into the labor market. The DSE has approximately 1,900 enrolled students and graduates around 350 students per year. Educational activities are provided at the Verona and Vicenza campuses and cover all three levels of higher education:
Bachelor’s degree programs
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business (Verona campus)
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Firms and International Markets (Vicenza campus)
Master’s degree programs
- Master's Degree in Banking and Finance (curricula in "Quantitative Finance” and “Financial Intermediaries Management”, Verona campus)
- Master's Degree in Economics and Data Analysis
(taught in English, Verona campus) - Master's Degree in International Economics and Business
(taught in English, Vicenza campus)
PhD Programs
- PhD in Economics and Finance
(curricula in “Economics” and “Mathematics for Data Analytics and Finance”, taught in English, Verona campus)
According to Almalaurea surveys, both bachelor’s and master’s graduates achieve employment outcomes above the national average for economics programs, with particularly high employment rates already one year after graduation and positive overall satisfaction levels.
The DSE is also strongly involved in cross-disciplinary university teaching and organizes advanced educational initiatives, including a Master’s program in “Project Management” and, in collaboration with international research centers, a Winter School active since 2005 on inequality and social well-being.
