Curriculum

Michele Imbruno is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Department of Economics, University of Verona. He is also an External Research Fellow at Nottingham Centre for Research on Globalisation and Economic Policy (GEP), University of Nottingham, UK. He received a Ph.D. in Economics (University of Nottingham, UK) and M.A. in International Economics (University of Sussex, UK). He also obtained a Ph.D. in Economics and Technology for Sustainable Development. His main research interests are in the field of International and Development Economics. His works mainly focus on “Heterogeneous Firms, International Trade and Foreign Direct Investments”. Before joining University of Verona, he was a Postdoc Research Fellow at Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), CERDI – Université Clermont Auvergne – CNRS (France), and University of Foggia (Italy), as well as an Assistant Professor at IMT Lucca (Italy). He also worked as a Consultant for the World Bank, and as an Intern at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Assocamerestero.
