History of economic doctrines aims at enabling students to set the mainstream economic theories against their historical background, namely into the history of modern and contemporary thought relevant to the analysis of economic phenomena.
The program consists in the study of the main lines of economic thought which can be labelled in a conventional way: e.g. mercantilism, physiocracy, the classical school, marginalism.
