This course is in two parts. The first part provides the classic quantitative tools to analyze and appraise financial projects, like financing contracts and investment projects. The second part analyze some derivative contracts, describing their markets and some simple valuation approaches. Students are encouraged to attend this course after having obtained a positive grade in Mathematics and Statistics.
The final examination consists of a written test and an oral test. The access to the oral test is conditional of a positive outcome on the written test.
