The Department of Economics promotes events, presentations, and meetings open to the general public in order to showcase the expertise, activities, and achievements of its academic community. Through these initiatives, the Department fosters dialogue with the local community, institutions, the business sector, and civil society, making visible the contributions of researchers, faculty members, students, and graduates. These activities include presentations of research projects, books, and reports, meetings with institutional guests, outreach initiatives, and events dedicated to the recognition of merit and excellence.
This framework also includes the promotion of graduates who have distinguished themselves for the quality of their academic path and the value of the work carried out in their thesis.
In February 2026, the Department organized two events entitled “The Department of Economics Meets the City”, addressed to institutions, businesses, and the public, with the aim of highlighting, in an accessible way, the quality of the Department’s education and research.
One event took place on February 6, 2026, in Verona at the Santa Marta University Campus; the other was held on February 13, 2026, in Vicenza at the Vicenza Univr Hub.
