Curriculum

Dr. Zago has a PhD in Agricultural & Resource Economics from the University of Maryland (USA). He has spent most of his academic career at the University of Verona, but he has also been visiting other universities, such as Copenhagen, Paris, New York, Cambridge, Toulouse and Brisbane. He is an applied economist working on efficiency and productivity, with some methodological papers and more applied work in different sectors, and on industrial organization, in particular on issues regarding quality, information, and the role and working of different market organizations. The focus is on food markets, but the methods are general.
