Teaching Committee

The Committee promotes, coordinates, and monitors the Academic programs offered by the Department. 

The Presidents of the Degree Programme Boards are members of the Committee. The Chair of the Committee serves as the Department's Teaching Quality Assurance Officer and is a member of the University's Teaching Quality Assurance Committee. 

The Committee's main responsibilities are: 

• Planning teaching activities and teaching workloads; 

• Coordinating the main activities assigned to individual degree programmes (e.g., monitoring the quality of courses, collecting data on incoming students and graduate employment outcomes); 

• Allocating funds dedicated to teaching activities; 

• Preparing the documentation required by the University. 

The Committee's activities are supported by the Teaching Office, particularly with regard to the preparation of the academic calendar, the allocation and use of teaching facilities, the definition of teaching workloads, the identification of courses requiring external appointments, the activation of tutoring and supplementary teaching services, the organization of elective learning activities, and communications with students.
