The course aims at providing the students with key analytical tools in order to understand the functioning of both cooperative firms and nonprofit organizations within advanced economies (the so called ‘post-industrial economies’), including their relationships with Government and for-profit firms as well as their ability to provide ‘relational goods’ and favour the accumulation of bridging social capital.
