Aim of the module is to give an overview of the main aspects of economic development. A short introduction on growth and technological progress will be followed by the analysis of income distribution and human capital accumulation in order to give students the tools for evaluating the development level of foreign markets that may be relevant for domestic firms.
International trade (Prof. Riccardo Fiorentini)
This module deals with the role of international institution ,such as WTO, IMF and the WB, in shaping development processes. Particular attention will be given to the links among globalization, growth and income inequality
